Present your prayers of petition.
Today, I feel pain just as you felt the pain of the Crown of Thorns in your flesh, O Lord. I know that the disease is one aspect of being human, but I need your help to accept this pain with love and understanding. Help me, Lord, increase my faith so that I can continue to put my trust in you. Through Christ our Lord. Amen
Life is like a game of cards. The hand you are dealt is determinism; the way you play it is free will.
Please pray for Bill Kvochak, a member of the EV Serra Club, who is in the hospital.
Pray the prayer above for Serra members and loved ones and friends who have requested our prayers during trying times.

Our prayers for David, May he rest in peace and the Lord bring peace to all the members of the family, specially Connie and Ed

My Fellow Serrans,
It is with a heavy heart that I share with you that Connie and Ed Donahue lost their son David in a car accident last Wednesday, June 7th, while returning from Flagstaff with his daughter Claire, and his fiancé. To quote Connie, “…thank God both granddaughter
and fiancé are fine and doing well.”. I reached out to Connie in advance of this notice and she is aware that I am writing to you [our Serran family] to join in prayer for David their son. I did reach out to the Rosary group that meet every morning at St.
Thomas Aquinas, asking them to devout special rosary intentions for David. Thank you Marie Boss and Ana Berry for supporting this very special request. I have written to Connie and she is aware of these offerings for he son David, and I now pass on to you
her sincere thanks and gratitude for your Rosary and prayers.
Connie informs me that the family will engage in a formal memorial and mass for David at their family reunion in July in Colorado. Please join me in continued prayer for David and that the Holy Spirit provide the needed graces of strength, enlightenment, and
encouragement, that can only be sought and received through prayer with [Him] in the Holy Spirit, for Connie and Ed, and all their immediate and extended family effected by this loss.
Our faith journey continues to show us that our walk In-Christ, does take us on path of darkness and sacrifice; and ultimately to light, understanding, and peace with the Lord.
